Established in 1987, this scholarship was formed by family and friends as a memorial for Bill and Marie Krueger, the parents of Dr. Darrell W. Krueger. Dr. Krueger served as dean of instruction at Truman from 1971 to 1989. He served as president at Winona State University for 16 years and returned to Kirksville in 2008 to serve as president at Truman State University.
