Prospect Research Specialist

This position manages the prospect research program for the University Advancement Department at Truman State University, including planning, implementing and directing a comprehensive program to address activities associated with moving prospects along the prospect pipeline. The position will provide crucial assistance to the Institutional Advancement team by establishing and enforcing a "moves management" system, based upon comprehensive research that drives mutually-agreed upon cultivation and solicitation strategies for campaign donors and prospects.

Job Requirements

Minimum required qualifications include Bachelor's degree, proficiency in Internet research, strong research and problem-solving skills, and strong communication, writing and editing abilities.

Preferred qualifications include experience in higher education Banner system, research or research related field, experience with Banner information resources and publications and/or Raiser Edge, proficiency in locating and synthesizing material from multiple resources, ability to interpret, analyze and summarize complex biographical, business and financial data, excellent attention to detail, and high degree of organization and initiative.
