Coordination of materials used in the School of Science and Mathematics (SAM) through purchasing, receiving, and distribution of chemicals, glassware supplies, and instrumentation. Perform responsible secretarial and administrative duties related to purchasing and handling of materials for departments in SAM, including managing the stockroom, maintaining the chemical inventory, coordinating maintenance contracts and service technician visits, tracking budget expenditures, and grant reporting. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position.


High school diploma or equivalent; demonstrated proficiency with budget management, purchasing, and inventory management. Proficiency with word processing, advanced spreadsheet use, and other computations skills required. Must have excellent communication, human relations, and be detail oriented with proven organizational skills.


Associate’s degree and/or knowledge and experience with lab science, two years of responsible secretarial experience.
