This is a full-time, entry level 12-month position reporting to the Director of Athletics and will coordinate the day to day operations of the Athletic Department.



  • Administrative duties for the coaches and staff as needed
  • Oversee game contracts, and other related business office documents;
  • oversee scholarship, institutional, and work-study clearance approvals for the department;
  • supervise and maintain a student worker staff to assist with office and ticket operations;
  • manage Building schedule of practices, competition, and classrooms;
  • track and manage CARA logs all sports for NCAA compliance;
  • assist with importing and managing data in NCAA compliance assistant;
  • coordinate arrangements for the Athletics Hall of Fame, post-season events, etc.;
  • manage and process online ticket sales and in-office pre-season sales;
  • coordinate the deposits of ticket sales, camp fees, fundraising, and guarantee checks;
  • coordinating with Advancement office for deposits of donations received, setting up giving clubs, and accessing monthly giving reports;
  • overseeing office equipment maintenance and inventory;
  • preparing online requisitions and budget transfers via TruView;
  • providing one on one trainings with new coaches and staff members;
  • overseeing University purchasing-card holders monthly reporting and documentation;
  • assist in game management for home events, and organize game day ticket sellers;
  • other duties as assigned


Required qualifications include: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent background experience; demonstrated effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; computer proficiencies, and ability to work athletics events evenings and weekends.


Preferred qualifications include: experience working events involving cash handling, reconciliation, working in a business office, customer-oriented setting.
